As the successor to the Xperia X1,a new technology Sony Ericsson Xperia X2 develop with Windows Mobile 6.5.It has new features such as Flash support in Internet Explorer Mobile and Microsoft's app store, and the Windows Marketplace for Mobile.Sony Ericsson added the SlideView feature that notifies users to missed calls or new messages and provides quick access to them.

The Sony Ericsson XPERIA X2 is the first Windows Mobile smartphone with an 8 megapixel camera and WVGA video recording and it's actually the first ever full QWERTY phone to have that sort of imaging prowess as well.It has 3.2” touchscreen has been officially unveiled.

The X2 features a restyled keypad just like that of a netbook and exposes by sliding out the upper portion.The custom panel interfaces have been enriched with fourteen preloaded and sixteen more downloadable ones, including those for Skype, CNN, and Google.Other's features of the quad-band world phone X2 supports North American 3G bands (specifically, AT&T's), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS.
